Wow. Now & then a "dark ambient" album comes by that instantly captures your imagination totally. For example: Lustmord's Black Stars, Time Machines' eponymous album, and this. There's something literally magical about this, when I listen to it, I feel like I've been placed under some kind of spell, it grabs & holds you from start to end. Maybe it's something about the melancholic, mysterious chordal modes, maybe how the music flows over you & envelopes you in its dark, warm embrace. Spooky! Daniel Ruben

Never much to say about albums on Cryo Chamber. After a decade of listening - it's still composed of beautifully-made dark ambient sufficiently vague to defy even poetic written description. hello swirl

I adore Cryo Chamber and out of all the collaborators under the label, my most admired group is Metatron Omega. Every single album carries their unique mystic and thought evoking, monastic soundscape that elevates me to a higher realm. The "Sanctum" album, in particular, is the one I find the most astounding. theeverwanderer
